Eurovision 2027 Odds: Who Is the Favourite?

TL;DR: As of 3 November 2026, there is no Eurovision 2027 favourite worth the name. No country has chosen a song, and our odds feed has no 2027 winner market. What we can say is who the market will rate first: Italy, Israel and Ukraine have finished top 10 in each of the last four contests. Hosts rarely win: the last to do it was Ireland in 1994. The first entry is chosen on 20 December, at Albania's . This page becomes our live Eurovision 2027 odds tracker as the field fills in.

Once national finals start picking songs, this table becomes a live top 10 by average odds across the bookmakers we track. Until then, the honest answer to "who is the favourite?" is nobody.

Before songs exist, bookmakers price countries on track record and broadcaster reputation. Here are the last four contests, from our own results data:

Three groups stand out:

1. The consistent three. Italy, Israel and Ukraine made the top 10 every time. Italy's route changes in 2027: its entry is chosen on Sanremo's fourth night, not by the festival winner.

2. The 2026 risers. Romania (3rd), Denmark (7th) and Moldova (8th) all beat their recent form. One strong year moves early prices more than it should.

3. The fallers. Sweden finished 20th in Vienna, far below its usual level. Finland went from 2.02 favourite to 6th.

Track record is a weak signal. The 2026 winner came from a country that had sat out the previous three contests.

History says probably not. The last host to win was Ireland in 1994.

Bulgaria's best results have come in bursts: 4th in 2016, 2nd in 2017, then three years away (2023–2025) before the 2026 win. BNT hasn't said how it will choose its 2027 entry. The market will price Bulgaria on its song, like everyone else, and treat the home crowd as a small bonus.

The 2026 cycle is a useful lesson in what not to trust.

From 2015 to 2025, the pre-show favourite won 5 of 10 contests. Add 2026 and it is 5 of 11. Early prices show direction, not certainty.

Canada debuts, the first new country since Australia in 2015. It goes through a semi-final. .

North Macedonia returns after four years.

Netherlands, Ireland and Czechia are out.

Spain and Slovenia have an EBU extension until December. If Spain stays out, four Big Five countries plus host Bulgaria go straight to the final.

Thirty-six would be one more than Vienna's 35. Against 2026, Czechia's jury and televote are gone, and Canada and North Macedonia add two. That changes the voting map at the margins, not who wins.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is the favourite to win Eurovision 2027?

Nobody yet, in any sense that matters. As of 3 November 2026, no country has chosen a song, and our odds feed has no 2027 winner market. Any early price is a bet on a broadcaster, not on an entry. We'll add a live top 10 here once songs exist.

When will the Eurovision 2027 odds start to mean something?

When songs exist. Albania picks the first entry on 20 December 2026, and most of the field is chosen between late January and 13 March 2027. The sharpest moves come later still, during rehearsals in Burgas in May. See the .

Can Bulgaria win Eurovision 2027 at home?

It can, but history is against it. The last host to win was Ireland in 1994. The last five hosts finished between 6th (Italy 2022) and 25th (UK 2023). Bulgaria goes straight to the final as host.

Which countries have the best recent Eurovision record?

Italy, Israel and Ukraine finished in the top 10 in each of the last four contests (2023–2026), and Sweden in three of them. All four are on the EBU's list for 2027.

How often does the Eurovision favourite win?

About half the time. From 2015 to 2025, the pre-show favourite won 5 of 10 contests. In 2026, favourite Finland (2.02) finished 6th, and Bulgaria won after trading at 148.25 five days before the final. More in our .
